Privacy
localmodel.run is a static site. There is no backend, no account, and no sign-up. It was built to collect as little as possible, and this page says exactly what that means in plain terms.
What we don't do
No tracking. No data sales.
No accounts, no logins, no email capture. No advertising, no third-party trackers, no tracking cookies. There is nothing here to sell or share, so we never sell or share your data.
Analytics
Cookieless aggregate counts only.
To see which pages are useful and where visitors come from, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint you, and reports only aggregate counts. It cannot identify you.
Because each model and device combination has its own page, visiting one is counted as an aggregate page view. That tells us a page was popular, not who looked at it.
We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Those report aggregate search statistics from Google and Bing. They run on the search engine's side and are not scripts loaded on this page.
Your hardware
Stays on your device.
When you use the compatibility detector, the model and device you pick are used to compute the answer in your browser. They are not sent to us and not stored anywhere.
Local storage
Theme preference only.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. That is the only thing kept on your device, and it never leaves your browser.
Hosting
Cloudflare Pages.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how they handle it.
